A £20 non-refundable deposit is required for your booking and the full balance must be paid before or on arrival of your guinea pigs.
CANCELLATION FEES: We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if you cancel boarding at short notice. If we are able to fill the space this will not be necessary but short notice may result in a loss of earnings for us which is unacceptable.
On rare occasions it may be necessary for us to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our control. Obviously this is not something we wish to do but if we do need to do this we will try and give as much notice as possible. Please note there will be no reimbursement any additional costs incurred as a result of cancellation, and we are not responsible for alternative boarding provisions.
VETERINARY FEES & REIMBURSEMENT FOR PETROL: In the event that your Guinea Pig shows signs of illness we will make arrangements for your guinea pig to be seen by either your nominated vet or our local practice and contact you at the earliest opportunity. Out of hours emergencies will be taken to Mandeville Veterinary Hospital in Northolt. Any Veterinary fees incurred for your guinea pigs whilst they are in our care are your (the owner's) responsibility. You will either be required to pay the Vet directly or reimburse Pelletts Guinea Pig Boarding accordingly. Due to the rising costs of fuel we charge a nominal fee for the petrol used when making journeys to and from the Vets. All long term boarders over 31 days will be charged £11.20 per extra 3 months for insurance purposes.
COSTS: We charge the daily rate for the arrival and departure days, regardless of the time of day.
If your guinea pig is already boarding with us, and you wish to collect your pet earlier than the date originally provided, you are still liable for the full boarding costs.
If you do not collect your guinea pig on the agreed day then you will be charged for the extra days boarding at an over stay rate of £12 per day.
If your guinea pig sadly passes away whilst in our care, we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes. We accept no liability in the unlikely event that this may happen, and we are unable to refund any remaining booking fees unless the remainder is over 21 days. You will be liable for any veterinary fees incurred including cremation.
LIABILITY: All pet owners must accept that accident, injury, illness, death, theft, public liability, and all other insurances for the pet owner and their animal whilst visiting and boarding with us , are the responsibility of the pet owner and Pelletts Guinea Pig Boarding are released of any and all such liabilities.
